9 Books for The Resistance!

Resistance to tyranny is an important part of dystopian survival. It is not just about surviving, but about reclaiming our rights, dignity, and heritage so that we can build the best lives possible for ourselves and our families for generations to come. Just because Trump won, doesn't men the battle is over. At best, Trump's election may have bought us some more time. However, the forces of tyranny are not giving up! Here are nine books*, in no particular order, that are very useful in resisting the tyranny that is upon us:

1) Total Resistance - The classic study on resistance & underground operations, by Swiss Major H. von Dach. Often recommended by Pastor Joe Fox (aka Viking Preparedness), a former Special Forces officer.  Available on Amazon. 

2) Resistance Operating Concept (ROC) - Another great resource for resistance and underground operations. Also recommended by both Pastor Joe Fox (aka Viking Preparedness) and Bear of Bear Independent. Available on Amazon.

3) Human Factors Considerations of Undergrounds in Insurgencies: Second Edition - This manual is by the US Army Special Operations Command in 1966, and is focused "on the contemporary threat of Maoist insurgencies, particularly in Southeast Asia, and also draws extensively on World War II resistance movements in Europe. Much of this information is still relevant" in today's situations. Available on Amazon.

4) Unrestricted Warfare: China's Master Plan to Destroy America, by Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui (both officers in the Chinese military). This is literally the handbook the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been using in its (so far very successful) cold war against America and the West. Not only does it expose their tactics, but reveals to us pointers we can use against our enemies, be they the CCP or our own Western Elites. Available on Amazon. 

5) Survivalist Family: Prepared Americans for a Strong America, by Pastor Joe Fox (aka Viking Preparedness), is a great guide to beginner and intermediate preparedness and survival for both short-term disasters and long-term emergencies. Preparedness and self-reliance are the foundations upon which any successful resistance must be built. Affiliate link for 10% discount.   

 6) Why Social Justice Is Not Biblical Justice: An Urgent Appeal to Fellow Christians in a Time of Social Crisis, by Scott David Allen. I bought this book shortly after it came out, and highly to recommend it to others, particularly believers attending churches that seem to be rejecting traditional Biblical values, while embracing social justice concepts (all in the name of love, tolerance, and diversity, of course). Sadly, the liberal "woke" modern church is one of the major problems we need to resist. Available on Amazon.

7) Live Not by Lies: A Manual for Christian Dissidents, by Rod Dreher.  From the Amazon description page:  The New York Times bestselling author of The Benedict Option (another book I would recommend if this was a longer list) draws on the wisdom of Christian survivors of Soviet persecution to warn American Christians of approaching dangers. Available on Amazon.

8) Unhumans: The Secret History of Communist Revolutions (and How to Crush Them) - If you don’t understand communist revolutions, you aren’t ready for what’s coming. This is not a book about ideology or politics. Instead, it reveals that communism, socialism, Marxism, and fascism are not philosophies but tactics - tactics that are specifically designed to unleash terror on everyday people and revoke their human rights to life, liberty, and property. These are the forces of unhumanity. This is what they do. Unhumans steals their playbook, breaks apart their strategies piece by piece, and lays out the tactics of what it takes to fight back and win, using real-world examples. Available on Amazon. 

9) The NKJV, American Patriot's Bible, The Word of God and the Shaping of America - Two things being attacked in today's world: Biblical teachings and real history. This study Bible addresses both. One of my favorite translations, the New King James Version is literal, accurate, and easy-to-read for most modern folks. The American Patriot's Bible "shows how the history of the United States connects the people and events of the Bible to our lives in a modern world. Critical Thinking, Part 1 - Problem Solving - The Important First Step

This is the first in a series of articles on Critical Thinking and Problem Solving. 

The first step - the most important step - in problem solving is recognizing that there is a problem. If you cannot, or will not, recognize a problem, you will never be able to solve it. This sounds simple, but it is where many people fail. 

There are a lot of reasons why people fail to recognize problems. Here are some types of folks who fail at this most important first step:

The Distracted - Most folks today are distracted by things like their jobs, paying the bills, raising the kids, watching their favorite reality TV show, or playing doodle-jump on their I-Phone. When distracted, it is easy to not notice, or simply ignore, the problems and even dangers that may be lurking around you. 

The Fear-Bound - Some problems are scary. therefore some people simply refuse to think about those problems. Or they will deny that it could ever happen. Or they will say something along the lines of "If X does happen, we are all going to be dead anyway," and simply refuse to admit there is anything that can be done to deal that problem. In part, this is because modern society teaches people to emote, rather than to think. Our feelings rule us, rather than our reason. 

The Slothful - Let' face it, some people are just plain lazy. They don't want to do anything that is difficult, uncomfortable, or painful (physically or otherwise). They are addicted to comfort, to good times, to fun, to luxury. These folks don't want to see problems that may disturb their lifestyle of ease, so they don't. 

The Sheeple - Sheeple look to others to solve our problems for us. Sheeple often don't recognize approaching problems because, to them, that is the job of government, authorities, and other experts. It is not their responsibility, so they rest easy knowing that the Government protects them. Worse, the sheeple blindly follow "official" advice no matter what. 

Blinded by Ideology - Many people are so brainwashed by their ideology that they refuse to see or accept anything that is contrary to their beliefs. In fact, they often demand "safe spaces" where they will never even be exposed to any contrary opinion or inconvenient fact. Some will even demand that people be "cancelled" for holding different opinions and beliefs. 

Whistling Past the Graveyard - Some people actually see a problem, but they simply don't know what to do about it. They don't know how to solve it themselves, or they simply aren't motivated to find out on their own. So, they ignore the problem, and hope it simply goes away on its own.

Take an honest look at yourself. Which of these categories do you fit? In order to survive what is coming, you need to be a problem solver. Even if nothing bad ever comes, to be really successful at life you still need to be a problem solver. The most important first step is being able and willing to see problems. Get out of your comfort zone, and recognize all the problems and potential problems you are up against. Then start to handle them. You can do it!

I honestly thought land mines had been declared a war crime and banned. Apparently not. Now Ukraine - US - NATO have decided to use them in Ukraine, according to media reports. Sickening. The West is fast losing any moral high-ground they may have had.

The Resistance Must Continue!

Trump won. However, the Elite class and their useful tools in the Deep State, the mainstream media, academia, and pop culture, are not going away. They are not giving up.

Trump won. But all the damage done by the Elites remains. The national debt does not go way. The unfunded mandates (all $220 Trillion - yes, that number is correct) does not go way. The desire of the BRICS nations to replace the US dollar as the world's reserve currency remain. Tens of millions of illegal immigrants will still be here on Trump's first day of his new term. The Elites and the entire Left remains hostile to traditional values, traditional families, free speech and capitalism. Transgender madness continues. 

Trump won. But we haven't yet won. This election was only one step forward on a long, long journey. It buys us time to ramp up our resistance. Time to prepare, and become more self-reliant and resilient. Time to build the alternative systems that will enable our resistance well into a future beyond the next four years.

Let us use that time wisely.

November will be a month of change for my websites. As my health continues to improve and my medical appointments become less and less intrusive in my life, I am refocusing my energies with my websites and video channels. 

Preparedness, survivalism, and self-reliance, as well as my economic and political resistance articles, will be consolidated on my other website, www.DystopianSurvival.com. As previously announced, #HistoryHub is already being moved there. Occasional news alerts and situational reports (SitReps) will also be posted to Dystopian Survival. 

This website, www.TimGamble.com, will feature my "bigger picture" ideas and worldview through a variety of topics and interests. If that sounds a bit vague, it intentionally is. I'm not yet ready for the big reveal, but buckle up as the ride is about to get really interesting!

Election Day Reminder: Please Vote

Why Voting Actually Does Matter

1) Not voting gives the Left exactly what they want. The Left doesn't want your vote to count. By not voting, you are giving them exactly what they want, one less conservative vote. 

2) Not voting makes it easier for the Left to steal elections. If you don't want stolen elections, why are you making it even easier for elections to be stolen by not voting? 

3) Not voting removes your influence over local and state politics. Sure, they may be able to steal a Presidential election (only takes a few key counties in a few swing states) and maybe a few congressional seats, but it is logistically impossible for them to steal all elections at all levels everywhere. Let them concentrate on the national level. We should concentrate on the state and local levels.

As I've stated elsewhere "Local politics are more important than state politics. And state politics are more important than Federal politics." This is especially true with elected officials within the legal system - local DAs, state Attorneys General, Sheriffs, and elected Judges. These positions matter deeply. Don't just hand these key positions over to the Left. By not voting, that is exactly what you are doing.

Report: Worldwide Persecution of Christians Increasing

11-1-2024 United Kingdom (International Christian Concern) — A report released last week shows that Christians around the world are enduring increased levels of violence, discrimination, and other human rights abuses.  

The Catholic organization Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) released “Persecuted and Forgotten? A Report on Christians Oppressed for their Faith 2022-2024” during an event at the U.K. Parliament. Most countries surveyed saw a dramatic increase in Christian persecution. 

The report includes a global and regional analysis of Christian persecution in 18 countries from summer 2022 to summer 2024. 

Global powers such as China and India, as well as Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, saw increases in Christian persecution and oppression. For the first time in the report’s 18-year history, Nicaragua is included for its government’s extreme oppression of Christians, specifically the mass detention and expulsion of clergy.  

Also included are testimonies from survivors of anti-Christian attacks and details on such events from ACN’s contacts in each country.  

Recurring themes in the report include the displacement of Christian communities following attacks by extremist groups, the forced marriage and conversion of Christian women and girls, as well as the kidnapping and intimidation of priests, and the publication of derogatory content about Christianity in school textbooks. 

Anti-Christian persecution has been perpetrated by both state and non-state actors, such as terrorist organizations, other groups of religious extremists, and criminal gangs. 

The report states that militant Islam was responsible for increased persecution in all six African countries reviewed, indicating that “the epicenter of militant Islamist violence has shifted from the Middle East to Africa.” 

It goes on to explain that “Mass migration of Christian communities, triggered by militant Islamist attacks, has destabilized and disenfranchised them, raising questions about the long-term survival of the Church in key regions.” 

Authoritarian regimes, including those in China, Eritrea, India, and Iran, increased oppressive measures against Christians in the name of religious nationalism or state secularism/Communism.  

“The restrictions included tougher sentencing for alleged insults against state ideology, confiscation of places of worship, increased arrests of clergy and laity, as well as longer periods of detention,” the report stated.

Other highlights from the report include an upsurge in violent attacks on Christians in Pakistan triggered by blasphemy allegations and the detention of more than 850 people under anti-conversion laws in India. 

Vietnam is the only country in the report where a slight improvement was noted, largely because of steps taken to re-establish diplomatic ties with the Vatican.

Potential Fraudulent Voter Registration Schemes

AFPI CALLS ON Biden-Harris Administration TO LAUNCH INVESTIGATION Into Potential FRAUDULENT VOTER REGISTRATION Schemes

11-1-2024 WASHINGTON, D.C. – The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) is calling for an immediate Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into the Field+Media Corps voter registration vendor on behalf of Everybody Votes organization over potential fraudulent voter registration schemes.

In the last several days, thousands of fraudulent voter registrations have reportedly been discovered by local election officials and county District Attorneys in Pennsylvania submitted by Field+Media Corps right at the voter registration deadline.

“Where there’s fire, there’s fire. Thousands of instances of reported voter registration fraud have now been confirmed throughout Pennsylvania,” said Hogan Gidley, Vice Chair of AFPI’s Center for Election Integrity. “The vendor who registered so-called voters is funded by a high-powered left-wing organization. The DOJ should investigate the vendor immediately. In addition, since this is happening in one target state by two national organizations allied with the Left, federal authorities should immediately investigate everywhere these entities are working. Until this happens, each state should flag any voter registrations submitted by this vendor and immediately begin their own investigation at the state level.”

“Submitting fraudulent registrations right at the voter deadline to overwhelm election officials is exactly the kind of scheme that the Department of Justice should be using their force and resources to stop. We commend local election officials for their diligence and applaud county District Attorneys in Pennsylvania for immediately investigating their findings where these fraudulent registrations have been found.”

Everybody Votes is a voter mobilization group that targets Black, Latino, Native American, low-income, and other voter groups likely to lean politically to the Left. While claiming to be non-partisan, it is run by individuals with long-standing connections to leftist non-profits, including the AFL-CIO labor union federation, George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, and the State Voices network of liberal state-level advocacy groups.

Field+Media Corps is a media and outreach strategy consulting company with a clear history of funding exclusively by the Left and with past and current leftist clients. On its website, it boasts of supporting the Biden/Harris campaign through its services.
