11-9-2020 - One thing that the election has exposed is NOT media bias. We have known for a long time that the corporate mainstream media is very biased to the Left of the political spectrum. What has actually been exposed beyond any doubt is the CORRUPTION of the media. They are not only biased, but willing and active participants in the Leftist agenda. There is even evidence of actual coordination between the Corporate Media, Big Tech, the Deep State, and the Democrats in attacking President Trump, his 70+ million supporters, and attempting to steal the election.
Even media outlets such as Fox News and Drudge Report, who made their brands by being conservative-friendly, have joined with their Leftist cohorts in a big way. So, what are traditional Americans, who still make up at least half of the population, to do to get honest news?
Alternatives to the Drudge Report
For many years, the Drudge Report was the place for conservatives and other traditional Americans to get an overview of the day's important headlines. Drudge would often highlight stories the other media would try to bury. But, sadly, Drudge joined the anti-Trumpers during the 2016 election, and has gotten worse ever since. During this election, Drudge became nothing more than a daily dose of mud and slime aimed at Trump and his supporters. But many traditional folks still go there daily because they don't know where to go. Fortunately, there are alternatives.
First and foremost among the these alternatives is Whatfinger News, whose mission is to create the "Greatest Aggregate Link News Site On Earth." If you haven't yet checked them out, please do so. These guys are great at what they are doing. Much better than Drudge was even back in its heyday. This, not Drudge, should be everyone's daily one-stop for news links. If you find their main site a bit too busy, there is a slimmed-down version with fewer graphics and fewer ads, called the General Dispatch.
Cable and Broadcast News
Goodbye, Fox News. For a long time you were a voice of reason in a wilderness of Leftist dishonesty. But, you have finally gone native, fully embracing the anti-Trump hysteria and dishonesty of the Left.
Fox News has been caught lying about the President, saying that Trump has not repudiated racism (Trump has done so repeatedly), among other lies told by the network. Fox News has conducted biased and inaccurate polls. Fox News conducted an extremely biased first Presidential debate (Chris Wallace was extremely unprofessional in his conduct). Fox News called Arizona early, long before they finished counting votes, and refused to change their call even after it became apparent that Trump still has a chance to win the state.
Fox News still has Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity in prime-time, as well as Mark Levin and Steve Hilton on Sunday night. They are still better than anything on the broadcast networks or CNN and MSNBC. But, the question becomes: Is it worth it to watch their shows, since by doing so we are indirectly supporting the networks daytime fake news? You'll have to decide that for yourself.
Fox Business still has Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, and a few other good folks. Generally speaking, FBN has not yet succumbed to the Left the way Fox News has, but how much longer before the disease of Leftism destroys that network, too? Sadly, they fired Trish Regan before the election because she was too critical of the coronavirus lockdown. (By the way, you can still get Trish Regan's daily podcast and check out her website.)
One America News Network (OANN) and Newsmax also have TV networks, but are not yet as widely available as the other news networks. If you can get them where you are, they are excellent alternatives to Fox and the other news networks.
Other Good Sources of News
Breitbart News is one of the best sources of news, and one of the most attacked by the corporate media and Big Tech. You can tell how good they are by their enemies.
The best newspaper in the country is The Epoch Times. Truth and Tradition is their motto, and it shows in their commitment to real journalism. This is how journalism is supposed to be done. The have both print and online editions.
The Washington Times is another good newspaper, but its print edition is only available in the DC area. Its digital edition is available online, and worth checking out.

- LifeSiteNews (news from a pro-life perspective)
- PJ Media
- Project Veritas (independent investigative journalism)

This is not a complete listing. There are plenty of other good sources of news and independent journalism.
Worth Mentioning
This website, www.TimGamble.com, is a hybrid between a news & commentary website, and a link aggregate website. The main column, the Front Page section, is news particularly focused on the triple threats to America and western civilization - China, Islam, and the socialism/fascism of western elites - along with news of Christian persecution around the world. The right-side column provides links to the latest news stories from The Epoch Times, Breitbart News, Newsmax, OANN, Zero Hedge, and American Military News. The links are automatically updated in real time. Additionally, you can find links to the latest survivalist articles on Dystopian Survival, and the latest educational videos from Prager U.
Prepper Website is a daily link aggregate website for the best prepper and survivalist articles on the web. It also has pages for Alt News, homesteading, and DIY, among others. Great information for these turbulent times.
Prager U. isn't a news site, but they make excellent short educational videos from a conservative point-of-view, often directly relating to current events.
The Bottom Line
We need to stop using the biased, dishonest, and corrupt corporate media. Every time we read one of their articles, or watch one of their shows, we fund their war against traditional America. Fortunately, there are some good alternatives.
